Bait – Review
by: Jade West
Released: August 14, 2017
A stranger online. Dark hair and even darker eyes that knew my dirty desires before I did.
A fantasy that should never be spoken. But he pulled the confession from me.
And now he’s coming for me.
Rough. Dirty. Dangerous.
It’s supposed to be one night to get me off and make me forget.
He’ll make me his and I’ll pretend I don’t want him to.
I’ll run and he’ll chase.
Because I asked him for this.
I begged him for this.
Tonight, in the darkness, he’s the hunter.
And I’m the bait.
Bait – Review
Holy shit. This is great!
First of all, we need to talk about this gorgeous cover! It’s so appealing, and I love the use of blue. It literally draws you in and amps up the mysterious factor.
Bait was a thrill ride. I haven’t read many Jade West books, but I do own quite a few. After this one, I’m going to have to push some of hers to the top of my TBR.
This book was dark and full of danger. I loved every single second of this book. It touches on a taboo subject, and y’all know I don’t shy away from those! The more the merrier. Haha. Seriously, yes. I mean yesssss!
The chase is so disturbing, yet West just has a way with pulling at your heartstrings. There wasn’t a lull in this book and I was captivated throughout the whole thing: from start to finish. I honestly had a hard time putting down this book. That was great cuz I hadn’t read a book all month (8 days in). I devoured this in two days!
I loved both of the characters in this: Abigal and Phoenix. They both hooked my heart and didn’t let go! Abigal and Phoenix knew who they were and didn’t make any apologies; diving into what they wanted, and took and gave a part of themselves freely, dangerously.
