Blog Ahead Challenge

Yesss! Just finished up the read-a-thon. I’m thinking it went pretty well. So here’s another challenge I’m going to try. It’s called Blog Ahead (October 1-31). It’s for those pesky months at the end of the year where everything is absolutely crazy! Holidays.

This is an annual event, hosted by Herding Cats & Burning Soup and Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Basically, the idea is to create and schedule 31 NEW posts during the month of October that will be published AFTER November 1st. Since the holidays are crazy for everyone, it makes the people of the blogging world, their life, easier.

It can be any kind of post: book reviews, bookish posts, recipes, guest posts, interviews, picture posts, writing prompts, etc. The sky is the limit.

Anyone can join. Come onnnn. Sign up here. Do it with me! 😉 I’ll post mini updates attached to my regular October posts.

See, even without the holidays, I tend to not schedule many posts. I am in the bad habit of writing them when I need them. So hopefully, this will give me the chance to get some things done, in addition to writing posts for October. I will also be taking a mini vacation (visit to my parents) sometime during this month, so that will help as well. At the beginning of the school year (15-16), I found out that my son is at a year-round school. So he has October off from school. Great month to plan fun things!

Keep in touch and wish me luck!

  1. Best of luck! This would help me a lot. I also don’t schedule posts enough even without the holidays. I may join you in this challenge 🙂

Thanks! I’m hoping it helps me a lot. I need to schedule a few reviews for November but that means I have to get to reading lol! Go for it! The more the merrier! 🙂 Good luck if you do!

      1. You’re welcome! I should get some reviews out as well. It will be hard though! I’m not sure if I’ll even have time to participate because of school and homework. Good luck to you too!
