Bookish (& Not So Bookish) Thoughts
Welcome back to the weekly meme, hosted by Christine at Bookishly Boisterous! Thank you for hosting!
Guys. There’s one day until Christmas! Happy Christmas Eve!
♡ I finally got the rest of the presents. Wrapping went pretty well, if I say so myself. It was better than expected. Yay! 🙂
Anyway, onto the week.

♡ Ok, I seriously just spent 10 minutes trying to find a meme picture to suit my needs and I couldn’t find one… I suck at this game. Ahh! Does it take anyone else forever to find memes? Or is it just me?
♡ Speaking of memes, I was also looking at quotes and I just have to say Mariska Hargitay is an awesome person. I love Olivia (L&O: SVU). She’s an amazing detective and an even cooler person. I would totally name my daughter after her, if I had a daughter. Well, I guess my second daughter. Cuz if I ever have a daughter, her name will be Lorelei Suzanne.
♡ Anyone want to take a guess why I love the name Lorelei?! 😛
Anyway, so the other day, Caden and I made Vanilla Sugar Cookies. They turned out amazing. Look out for the recipe this weekend! With lots of fun pics! He enjoyed using the cookie cutters and had so much fun decorating the cookies. In the spirit of Christmas, of course, we used holiday cookie cutters: snowman, tree, angel, and a bell.
♡ Yay for Christmas break! For both of us. We don’t return to school until the new year, thank god. I’m so exhausted from that damn textbook. I am enjoying this break! Well, yesterday, I actually had no clue what to do. I was bored. For the first time in a while. I had no homework, I already played with Caden, I read all the Wednesday posts on WordPress (and then some), I read a couple chapters in my current read. It was a productive, yet uneventful day. Hmm… These two weeks are going to be interesting…
♡ I cannot believe that Christmas is tomorrow. It doesn’t feel like it is the end of the year. Who knew time flew by so fast? My mom always told me that when I have kids, I won’t know what hit me. She was totally right. It seems like it goes by faster once you have children. I’m more busy, I have more fun, I go to bed earlier (sometimes), I keep better track of time.
♡ Oh! Chris and I had a date night last weekend. We saw the new Star Wars… No, I won’t reveal any spoilers, even though I’m not much of a fan. It was a good movie though. And it was in 3D! I love 3D movies, although the glasses give me a headache.
♡ Alrighty, this is a little bit short. I’m falling asleep at my keyboard… I apologize for no pics this week.
