Burn, Rewrite, Reread Tag

Hello fellow bookworms!

I have seen numerous people do this tag, so I thought I’d love to give it a try.

Now, I do have to confess, while this is a play off of Kiss, Marry, Kill… I have actually never played that game before! I know, right? Lame!

Anyway, here it is, but for books!

Burn Rewrite Read

The Rules:

  • Randomly choose 3 books you’ve read. (Use the ‘random’ option on your Goodreads “read” shelf.*)
  • For each group of three books, decide which book you’d burn, rewrite, or reread. (A lot like “Kiss, Marry, Kill.”)
  • Repeat until you complete three rounds (or five)

Burn: You Smiled by s. Jane Scheyder. While I did rate it 4 stars on Goodreads, I honestly don’t remember what it’s about. This was before my blog, and I didn’t write too many reviews. Besides, Dessen and Patterson are two of my favorite authors.
Rewrite: Oh, this one is difficult! I would have to say The Moon and More because I rated it 4/5. Although, again, I’m not sure why.
Reread: Sam’s Letters to Jennifer. Mostly because I can’t remember the plot at all! But I rated it 5/5. So maybe there is some hope? 😛

Jeez. Round One was tough…
***Disclaimer: No, I do not actually condone burning books!

Burn: Tough! Ugh. I would have to go with Last to Know, only because it took me so long to figure out the twist. But it was rated 4/5…
Rewrite: Almost Broken is going to have to be this one. Although, I cannot justify why… I loved it.
Reread: Chill Factor due to only remembering bits and pieces of this book. I read it so long ago.

Burn: Unfortunately, this one is going to be My Last Blind Date. I enjoyed most of Susan’s book, but I feel this one fell a little short when it came to characters.
Rewrite: Definitely The Virgin Auction even though I rated it 4/5. I would have loved to see more character development, as well as more backstory for the whole story. It was great for a short story, but I would love to see it in a full length novel.
Reread: His Witness. Such a dark, mysterious book. I loved every aspect, and it was one of my first dark erotica novels.

Burn: This one is a no brainer. The Secret Desire’s of a Soccer Mom was not executed very well at all. I enjoyed the plot, but it was terribly written.
Rewrite: I would have to say Notes to Self. While I really liked it, it just wasn’t enough. I didn’t get that amazing feeling at the end of it. It was just a tad predictable.
Reread: Omg. Wynn In Doubt was no doubt (haha) one of my favorite books of 2015. I was grasping to every page, and couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

Alright, guys. I challenge you to do this. It is not as easy as it looks… Round 4 was probably the easiest one… Haha.

Have you read any of these? What do you think? Let me know!
