He may be the best man, but he’s the worst man for her…

Wedding planner, Veronica Soto-Stewart believes everyone deserves a fairy tale–even her ex-boyfriend. Unable to refuse his request, and with the help of Bliss Events motley crew, she finds herself creating the most magical event for the perfect couple.

But nothing is ever perfect…

And not all happy ever afters can be planned…

Levi Laurent can’t believe his luck. Thanks to his best friend’s wedding, he finally has a shot at the woman he’s always wanted–Veronica. From San Francisco to Paris, and back, he pulls out all the stops, so she knows where she really belongs–with him. But Veronica wants nothing to do with the rich, sexy, irresistible playboy.

Can Levi convince Veronica that her perfect happily ever after is closer than she ever realized?

I love reading confessions of anything. My love for writing started out as writing in a diary format. While Confessions of a Wedding Planner is not in that kind of format, I enjoyed reading Nica’s confession.

Some of my first thoughts about the characters were they were not complex, that they were simple. I thought I could see right through them. This was not the case. I love Quinn’s ability to create an elaborate stream of characters. However, I would have liked to see Levi’s side more. A duel perspectives with this book would have made it that much more enjoyable to read. So that did fall short for me. In addition, I felt like Nica obsessed with Jake a little too much. At some point, you have to realize he is not the one for you. I think that point should have been a tad sooner than it was.

Quinn’s writing, I felt, was a bit too neat for me. While I did enjoy the plot, a lot of other aspects seemed too neutral for me. This was a good, clean romance. I liked how each chapter headline related to something within the wedding. It helped to move the plot along, and did not take away from the story. Each chapter told a new scene, and it felt like they were not all smushed together. I did like how the story unfolded over a month time-span. It was pretty cool to see how a wedding comes together, and what is involved with planning a wedding.

Overall, this was an okay read. It was light, fun, and clean.

Author Bio:

Michelle’s love for writing blossomed when her father gave her a diary, but instead of recounting her daily life, she wrote stories of fictional people. Like most of her characters, she believes in Happily Ever After. Naturally, she finds harmony in writing romance. She enjoys creating stories that make readers laugh, cry and fall in love.

An unabashed, self-proclaimed foodie, Michelle loves to try new food whenever she travels. She once had triple crème Brie and duck rillette for lunch on top of Grouse Mountain.

She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband, two kids and a pup named Scarlet.
