Heath – Review

A modern telling of a classic tale…
This isn’t a typical love story. This is a story of what happens when love is so powerful and all-consuming that it has the ability to destroy everyone involved. It’s definitely not pretty and it’s certainly not a fairytale, but it’s their story and it couldn’t be told any other way.
Heath – Review
I have been blown away again!
There are so many emotions rolling through me. It’s a rollercoaster, and I’m definitely having some trouble sorting it all out.
Heath is a book where emotions run high, and they never settle down. There are three timelines, so to speak: Here and now, the past, and the future from the past. It’s weird, but it’s unique and I love it. Everything about this book is so complex. The characters are fantastic, the writing of the two authors is smooth, and the need for revenge is plentiful.
Deriving from Wuthering Heights, these two amazing ladies take a classic tale and give it an outstanding spin. Heath was super hard to put down. I never wanted it to end! I haven’t read Wuthering Heights, and I doubt I will now. Maybe, sometimes, the retellings are supposed to be better than the originals…
I cannot express how much of an emotional ride this turned out to be. Because I hadn’t read WH, I actually had no idea what to expect. Yet, I was not let down in any way! It was super addicting. It was compelling. Sometimes, it was heartbreaking. All those reasons make the book even more beautiful.
