It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

Hello everyone! Welcome back! I’ve seen this meme floating around everywhere. I am excited for us to continue with this meme! Welcome to our sixth It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

This is a weekly meme, now hosted by Book Date. Tune in every Monday for bookish talks and future plans!

Let’s get to it!

So here they are:

Read-a-thin has officially started! I am 3 books down and 3 challenges completed!

The first book for Read-a-thin is Rose De Muerte by Natalie Bennett. I’m fudging the challenge a tad and I’m marking #4: Read a book with a fall themed cover. While black really isn’t fall, it has orange on the cover! Annnnnd. It gives off a spooky vibe. So this totally works! I gave this a 4 out of 5 hearts. Look for my review soon!

Up next was Forever Yours by Liz Lovelock. It’s the third and final book in the Letters in Blood series. I loved this book! The ending was the perfect way to wrap up the story. Oh man. My mind was reeling! Damn. 4 out of 5 hearts from me! It’s being released next week and my review will go up then. #6: Read a book in 24 hours is the Read-a-thin challenge being marked off.

The third book I read was Pernicious Red by Natalie Bennett. Rose De Muerte was a standalone prequel to this one. *insert grabby hands!* Oh yeah. Let’s rock this one too! 4 out of 5 hearts. Bennett’s books are so dark, and I love it! I am so rocking this TBR so far. Wish me luck for the other weeks! The completion of this book marks off #17: Read a book you received for free.

There were no other books this week. I started a new class with a gigantic textbook. Any other reading has been that. Booo!

Just in case you missed my Read-a-thin / November TBR post, be sure to check it out. This readathon is all month, so I will be sure to get plenty of reading done! I’ll also be participating in #minimoji (Emojiathon) the week around Thanksgiving. It’ll be fun too! I have no idea what my TBR for that will be. It’ll really depend on how many books I have read for Read-a-thin at that point in time. We shall see! Wish me luck!

Tiffany is still reading Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire. We need to help break her out of her slump! She is just getting over the flu so it may take a bit. Grah! I hate when that happens!
