It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?
Hello everyone! Welcome back (a day late!)! I’ve seen this meme floating around everywhere. I am excited for us to continue with this meme! Welcome to our eighth It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?
This is a weekly meme, now hosted by Book Date. Tune in every Monday for bookish talks and future plans!
Let’s get to it!
So here they are:
After I finished Muse by Nina Auril last week, I dived right into The Roommate ‘dis’Agreement by Leddy Harper. Muse, unfortunately, was not part of my Read-a-thin books. I received it after the readathon started, so I can’t count it. Buuut, I can count this one! Eight books down! This was received a 4 out of 5 hearts from me.
Next up was Warrior Forever by Amber Bardan. I signed up to take part in the blog tour for this book. However, upon signing up, I had no idea this was an alien sci-fi romance. Romance? Yes. But Alien Sci-fi? Nah. Honestly, I signed up because of the author and I have gobbled up everything she has written! So of course, I signed up. I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It definitely is a book outside of my favorite genre but hits one of the Read-a-thin challenges. Score! I gave this 3 out of 5 hearts.
That was actually all I read this week. It’s just been one of those bummer types of weeks. Here’s to hoping next week is better! Minimoji starts on Thursday so a whole new set of challenges, some of which can be crossed over into Read-a-thin. Yay! Keep an eye out for my TBR on Thursday.
Again, if you missed my Read-a-thin / November TBR post, be sure to check it out. This readathon is all month, so I will be sure to get plenty of reading done! I have already completed 9 books, which means 7 challenges!
How is your reading going so far?
Tiffany is still reading Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire. We need to help break her out of her slump! She has read a bit further in this one, but between work and school, there has hardly been any time for play!
