My Torin – Review
by K. Webster
Publication Date: January 9, 2018
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Psychological Romance
I’m a freak, a misfit, an odd end.
Abandoned and unloved.
But my happiness is so close I can taste it.
Until he shows up.
Gorgeous, expensive, and all man.
Sad brown eyes and a brilliant smile.
And he wants me to go with him.
What he promises feels too good to be true…
A castle. A fortune. And horses too.
It’s too easy.
Nothing in my life has ever been easy.
What’s the catch?
There’s always a catch.
My Torin – Review
What a beautifully written, heart-wrenching tale in its best form.
This one blew me away. It hit me with all the feels. It’s such a unique story, one like none other. Yes, there was a bout (or two) of ugly-crying. Not even gunna lie.
Casey is a strong woman, who has been bounced around a lot from foster home to foster home. My heart hurt after reading her character development. While I couldn’t relate to her in that way, I knew she was going to be one of my favorite characters. Until she met Torin and Tyler, she was just biding her time until she turned 18. But there’s much more to everyone that meets the eye. Torin and Tyler are unlike any brothers I’ve ever met. They’re so good together as most siblings never are. There’s just something about their relationship that makes your heart sing. Each of these characters brings a different perspective to the table.
My Torin is unlike anything I have ever read before. This journey is spectacular and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Everything about this book is wonderful. It’s painful but it leaves your heart feeling full.
*We’re in day 5 of the new year (as I write this review) and damn. It’s my second book of the year and it’s already on my Top Reads. There won’t be anything that can top this book.
