My Perfect Blog Planner

Psst. I’m going to let you in on a little secret.

I am a terrible at keeping up with planners. Oh my. I’m a sucker for planners, journals, and calendars. I can’t even tell you how many blank journals I have just sitting around my house.

Does anyone else do that? Or is it just me?

As you know, my birthday was at the end of May. I’m the type of person where I’d rather save money instead of spend, spend, spend. Well, I took it upon myself to splurge a tad bit. It was money sitting in my PayPal account from my earning at Swagbucks, Ibotta, and some other receipt apps.

Randomly, on the same day, I took some time and I was looking at the free printables on Pinterest. One thing led to another and I found a blog post where the woman had found the “perfect planner” for her blog.

To say I was intrigued, was an understatement.

I knew I had to have it.

Her link lead me to Plum Paper etsy shop. For the life of me, I cannot figure out Etsy. It was not having what I wanted to look it. Sure, it gave me pictures and prices, but I wanted to see the inside of the planners. I googled the company and ended up here.

While it was a tad pricey, I was in love. Before I knew it, I was creating my own customized planner.

Now, I’ve shown you guys the way I’ve been organizing my blog posts and scheduling in advanced. When I was going through Plum Paper’s website, I envisioned my life becoming complete with this planner.

Guys. When it got here, I was super excited! I literally squealed and did a little dance.

Check it out!

I even received a personalized thank you note!

The next two pages consisted of the 2017 calendar spread

My planner starts on July 2016 and ends on June 2017. Due to the customization, you can choose when you want it to start. They also have (up to) 18 month calendars.

There’s a whole section where you can add add-ons. To-do list is one of many! Also, they created a whole Blog Section. Monthly overview is included for the blog. As well as the others below.

Included too is an Income & Expense sheet, Giveaways & Reviews, Advertisements & Sponsors. Those will be super helpful if you are self hosted. Cross your fingers for me. I’m working on it!

Finally, it has separate tabs for each month. I love it!

Planner Key

Just to give you a glimpse into how I organize my blog content… I have created a five color key, which I added into one of the pages towards the front. It helps me keep track of what I’m posting each month.

**Excuse the terrible handwriting! A prime example of why I love the computer so much. Hahaha.

This is one planner I swear I keep up with. I mean, it’s perfect. It’s pretty, it’s customizable. It’s everything I want in a planner. If you’re in the market for a new planner, I highly recommend heading on over to Plum Paper and take a gamble at designing your own perfect planner!

Annnd. I have an outstanding gift for you.

  1. Wow! This looks good! Might purchase this for next year though coz I still have a planner for 2016. But the customization really sold it to me. 😉

Yeah, that’s pretty much what sold me too. Because it starts in July, I haven’t really used it yet, but I have been transferring stuff from my old calendar over, and I am loving it! Definitely bookmark the page for the future! 😉

  2. Avatar Random Reads says:

That looks amazing! It would definitely be helpful if I could buy it. I feel like I might’ve seen it on Pinterest.

I’ve seen these. However, I can’t justify spending that much money on something that can’t be used again and again, same thing with the Erin Condren planners. I love my arc system from Staples. I can take pages out and put them in athe my leisure, I also love how it is the most customizable system I have ever seen.

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m liking it so far, but we’ll see a couple months down the road if I think the money is worth it. I am usually horrible at keeping up with planners and such. So it might turn out to not be worth it. But as soon as I saw it, I loved it and wanted to try. 😉 You never know until you try! LOL. Sounds like you have a great system! Always stick to what works. I’m still trying to find that one thing.

  4. This sounds like an amazing idea! I just got a planner for 2017 and it is absolutely amazing- and it’s also puppies so of course there’s that. If it works out, I’ll definitely have to share it on the blog. 🙂

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

Go for it, girl! And puppies is a huge plus!!!
