Pizza Roses

This is a Facebook Win / Pinterest Win / Pinterest Fail!

Yes, it truly is all three… You’ll see why soon enough…

Today, I bring to you…

PIZZA ROSES!

For this recipe, I don’t have an actual recipe to give to you. I just winged it off of the video I saw on Facebook. A friend shared one of those Tasty videos (I think it was from them?) and I thought, “Hey, Chris would love these!” So I made them for Valentine’s Day. Sorry this post is so delayed…

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day!

However, you can make these pizza roses any time of the year!

Here are the ingredients I used:

image

Pie Crust
Pizza Sauce
Pepperoni
Mozzarella Cheese

So basically, you cut the pie crust into 1-inch strips (or more depending on what you like). Then you add a little pizza sauce to the strip, layer the pepperoni, and then add the cheese.

Then you start at one end and roll it up. It should resemble a rose 😉

Preheat oven to 350* F. Grease a cupcake pan, and place all the roses in the pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the pie crust is fully cooked. And voila! You have pizza roses!

Super easy!

Fail time… It was a slight fail because Chris and I decided pizza crust would have been better, instead of the pie crust. Otherwise, no complaints!

Try for yourself. Enjoy!
