September Month In Review

Hey bookworms! September is over, crazy, right? Who else thinks the month went by so fast? Wait. Who thinks the whole year is going by so fast?!

I’ve decided to start a new feature, Month In Review. A lot of the bloggers do this and I think it is pretty fantastic. So…

Here Goes!

This month, I have read a total of 7 books. Only 9 last month. Awesome! I have posted several reviews.

Not too much drastically happened in my life this month. If I must say… My life is weird; it’s boring, it’s hectic, it’s everything in between. I ended a class in school with an A-. I started a new class: Introduction to Short Stories. No more English Literature! Yesss! I am just not a poetry person. Unless I’m writing it, which is hardly ever; I’d rather write short stories. I don’t go out of my way to read it because I can’t understand it. That class wrecked havoc onto my brain trying to analyze poets and what they wrote. Thankfully, I got a good grade. It was definitely a toss up because that first week, I did not do too good on my assignment so it brought my grade down without really giving me a decent chance. Classes are only five weeks, so those first three weeks are very crucial to getting an A.

Oooh, I did go to an annual book sale where I bought tons of book for $5 a bag! Woo-hoo! You can check out my book haul post here.
** Edit… Ooops! I forgot to add the link! Sorry guys!

That’s about it for my first month in review. How did I do, guys?! 🙂 October should prove to be so much better as I am going on vacation to visit my parents again. My cutie-pie started at a year-round school this year and has the whole month off before going back in November. I’m about to have fun. Will post pics and updates!

Nice! Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙂

  2. Looks like you had an amazing September! I agree, the whole year has gone by way too fast! It will be exciting to make it to 100 followers I bet 🙂 I too am working towards that goal.

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

Haha, thanks! I hope you reach your goal soon too! 😀

kendra, if you link your blog up to facebook and twitter you’ll get a lot more followers and reach. Each time you post on WP it auto posts a link to FB and twitter, so friends can share there if they wish. Its easy to do – my blog been a trial and error thing as tech just isn’t my forte, so its mostly error 🙂 but I managed to do it easily. you can also link to other places but I don’t have any…
If your tech knowledge is like mine a tip you might find useful is to always open a second post in new window and make changes there and test in a preview window – that way if it goes wrong its easy to go back to your first window and correct. that and the Back button are lifesavers for me!!

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

Thanks! I do have it set up to auto post to FB and Twitter. 🙂 I’m not really a tech person either so that’s great advice! Thank you!

      1. Avatar Phoenix Crimson says:
