Down the TBR Hole 19

Down the TBR Hole 19 is going to be better than last week! The third week in a row, I think, I was unable to reach my goal of 25 books removed! But never fear. This will be the week I make the goal!

Down the TBR Hole originated here. Basically, the gist is to start at the beginning of your TBR and go through a few books and decide if you’re going to keep them. My goal is to go through a minimum of 10 books each week. At 10 books a week, this would take me years to get through! I may do a little bit more, depending on how it goes. What do y’all think? I started at 1594, I believe. A shit ton of books lemme tell you! Each week, it is going down just a little bit.

Let’s get started!

Each of the covers will still take you to Amazon.

The KEEP books:

The REMOVE books:

&&& 15 books were also removed! Mostly, they were parts of series or I couldn’t find the book anywhere.

This week on DTTH:

Wow. This week was incredible! I went through 39 books! Out of those 39, only 10 were kept! Holy shit. That’s just amazing! I was able to remove 15 extra books this week.

Tell me. WHY DO I ADD THE WHOLE SERIES TO MY TBR? I haven’t even read the first book and I’m already adding every single book. Oh jeez. There’s no guarantee I’ll like the series! Grah!

Total removed: 311
Total kept: 117

Thanks for joining in on the addition of:
Down the TBR Hole 19!

GOAL? Yesss. I made it this week!

Have you read any of the books that were on the chopping block for this week?

  1. Ahoy there matey! I went through me ports for plunder list the other day and found that I too have whole series on there that I haven’t started. That is just silly because as ye say I might not want to read book two. In fact I have recently read a slew of first books and know I don’t want to read further. I cleaned me list out. Though I am not as good as removing things. Over a thousand and I only removed about 25!
