Synopsis:

When you read this book, you will make many assumptions.

You will assume you are reading about a jealous wife and her obsession with her replacement.

You will assume you are reading about a woman about to enter a new marriage with the man she loves.

You will assume the first wife was a disaster and that the husband was well rid of her.

You will assume you know the motives, the history, the anatomy of the relationships.

Assume nothing.

The Wife Between Us – Review

This book blew my mind.

Holy awesomeness. Do Not Make Assumptions! It’s much easier said than done, to be honest. Everything I thought I knew could not have been more wrong.

Hendricks and Pekkanen are amazing together! They created such an outstanding tale of an ex-wife, a soon-to-be-wife, and an (ex)husband. This tale is completely shocking. It’s a total manipulation of characters and you will not be able to anticipate a damn thing. Trust me, I tried.

The Wife Between Us is in my Top 5 Reads of 2018 and we’re only 4 days into the year (and it’s my first read of 2018). I mean, come on. This book had me on my toes, plunging me into the depths of this sordid, complex triangle. It’s intense, it’s page-turning, it’s captivating, and it’s brilliantly written. This book is everything I wanted, and everything I didn’t know I wanted. It’s a novel of epic proportions and I loved every single moment of my journey.

All I want to do is tell you everything about this book. But spoilers. So let me just say this: you will not regret buying and reading this book. It is a definite must-read.
