The Break-Up Bet – Review

  1. I’ve never read any of the books you mentioned, but I really like the quote from Significance you mentioned! I know it’s not really the same but it reminds me of this quote from one of my favorite movies Who Framed Roger Rabbit:

“His wife’s poison, but he thinks she’s Betty Crocker”

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

Nice! I like that quote too!

      1. Have you seen the movie? I love it! Sorry if I’ve asked you that already.

        1. Kendra Kendra says:

You haven’t 🙂 I think I saw it years ago, but I don’t remember it enough to actually recall it.

          1. I love it! My favorite line is, “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way” because Jessica Rabbit is like this gorgeously drawn cartoon!

          2. Kendra Kendra says:

Sweet! I’ll have to check it out again. 🙂

          3. It’s on Netflix if you have it

          4. Kendra Kendra says:

            I definitely do! 🙂

  2. Great choices from Oscar Wilde – particularly when the whole play is so quotable! 🙂

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

That is so true! 😉 I had a hard time picking which ones I wanted to go with.

  3. I like the one about what we read and shouldn’t read! My TTT

  4. I absolutely love this quotes! They just touched my heart. 🙂 Unfortunately, I haven’t read any of these books though.

  5. Oh I love the quotes in The Importance of Being Earnest! Have you read any of Wilde’s other works? His witty quotes and epigrams are just amazing 😀 Alsooo I haven’t read Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I’ve seen that quote floating about, and it’s a quote that resonates strongly with me ^_^ Great list!!

    1. Kendra Kendra says:

No, I haven’t read any of Wilde’s other works yet. It’s definitely on my list though 😉
