Top Ten Childhood Characters Books I’d Love to Reread

So this is the actual topic:

“Ten Childhood Characters You’d Love To Revisit As Adults (ie a novella or something to see what they grew up to be) — you could always just pick YA characters you’ve read recently you wouldn’t mind revisiting in 10 years or so. Or you could pick 10 characters and guess what you think they’d be doing in 10 years or 20 years. OR you could go the other way and wish for coming of age stories for adult characters you love.”

But… I’m a rebel. And honestly, I had a hard time coming up with certain characters. Books, it is.

First one that comes to mind is the Ramona Quimby series. I adored those when I was growing up. It would be super cool to reread the entire series! Oooh! Junie B Jones. Those were another one of my favs.

Goosebumps! Another series I loved! I would start at #1 and read all the way until the end.

Replica series. What I remember it being about is this girl, Amy, who was cloned. She’s #7 of I don’t remember how many. She has a crescent moon birthmark on her shoulder and she sets out to find others like her.

Annnd. Boys Against Girls series by Phyllis Reynolds NaylorMost people remember her for the Alice books. I seriously spent 20 minutes trying to Google this book and each time came up with nothing. I couldn’t remember title or author! Finally called my mom, and she suggested googling books about alice. So I did. And the 1 book about Alice that I recognized came up within the first 5 results. Epic!

Let’s not forget about the Sideways Stories from Wayside School! Oh, how I would love to get my hands on those!

Also the Bailey School Kids books. Loved those too! And this is why I LOVED the Scholastic Book Fairs at school. Man, I think I lived for those…

Ok, enough. Grah. Just Google “90s popular kid books”. Click on Images. And I guarantee you I read probably 75% of all the books listed on the first couple pages. Ahahaha. I am a true 90s kid.

What books would you reread from your childhood?
Let me know!

  1. I didn’t read kids books as a kid, for the most part. *ponders* I blame my mom. She would read books, and then I’d just pick up one after her and read it. I knew a lot about the birds and the bees by the time I was 10! LMAO. Where are they then? My TTT.

  2. Junie B Jones and Ramona ended up on my list as well 🙂
