Top Eight of my Favorite Words

Today’s topic was super hard for me. Unless it’s one of my favorite authors, I usually don’t pay attention to anticipated releases… *shrugs* Oh well. Here is this week’s actual topic:

Top Ten Most Anticipated Releases For The Second Half Of The Year (since we did a topic about the releases we were excited about for the first half of 2016 back in the beginning of the year) Feel free to tweak it how you want to — like most anticipated fantasy for the second half of 2016 or debut authors. Whatever you want!

But. Since I can’t come up with anything, I’m doing a different topic.

Here are 10 of my favorite words:

PETRICHOR

A pleasant smell that frequently accompanies the first rain after a long period of warm, dry weather.

ARCDIAN

Idyllically innocent, simple, or untroubled.

LOGOPHILE

A lover of words.

RADIANT

Bright and shining; having or showing an attractive quality of happiness, love, health, etc.

TSUNDOKU

(Japanese) Constant act of buying books, but never reading them.

PLUVIOPHILE

Lover of rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days.

MERAKI

(Greek) What happens when you leave a piece of yourself in your work.
Soul, creativity, love.

LAGOM

(Swedish) Just the right amount.

Oh man. I am in love with these words!

What are some of your favorite words?
