Top Ten Things I Want to Do After Reading Books

This is the actual topic today: Ten things Books Have Made Me Want To Do or Learn About After Reading Them.

I’m going to change this up just a little bit. Mostly because I am terrible at pairing books with things. So here are my ten things I want to do after I read various books.

  • Go on an awesome road trip with the girls. But first, I need some girls. Haha. However, it needs to have a purpose: like all 48 states, or big cities in the east. Or like the road trip Orlando Bloom takes in Elizabethtown.
  • Start a book club. Again though, I need people. I can be sociable online all I want, but in person, I’m totally shy. And I never go anywhere, so it’s kinda hard to make friends. Annnd all the current ones I have don’t live close, or they don’t like to read. I know, blasphemous!
  • Do more daring activities. I seriously don’t get out much. I would love to do more things.
  • Live in a small town. I absolutely adore small towns. Unfortunately, I don’t live in one.
  • Work in or own a bookstore. This one is a no-brainer! 😉
  • Work in a bakery. I love cake and cupcakes and brownies and cookies, and all the things! I can make a pretty good homemade cake; however, the frosting? That’s a completely different story!
  • Have some kind of hidden secret in my family. I know this one is kind of weird, but I would love to go on a secret fact finding mission. This reminds me of the review I posted yesterday, The Lost Girls. It’s about a family secret, among many other things. While I wouldn’t want to find out that specific secret happened in my family, I’d want something else. It could be fun! Lol.
  • Find a set of sex note cards. If you read my review of Christine d’Abo’s 30 Nights and 30 Days, you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t, basically the MC’s husband in 30 Days died, and he left her a packet of sex note cards. Each card contained a sexual act she must do. It was to help her get back into the dating scene, as he was the only guy she ever dated. It’s an awesome concept, and it in twisted way, it reminds me of PS I Love You. While I don’t want Chris to die, this is something I’d love to do. But am I really that brave? Probably not.

Well, that’s about all I could think of for this week. And ok, so I did end up pairing books with 2 of these activities. Only because I wrote it with them in mind! 😉

What are some things that were on your list this week?

  1. A road trip is on my list too! But with a boyfriend/boy you like, instead of with the girls. I’ve done the girls thing before, haha.

Also yes to working in a bakery or a bookstore. I think I’d be super happy either way. <3

    Here’s my list. 🙂

Nice! I’ve done it with the boyfriend before. An almost cross country one, at that. It was super fun. Now, I just need the girls 😀

  2. Random Reads says:

What a great list of goals 🙂

      Thank you! 🙂

A road trip sounds like a great idea.
In terms of uncovering secrets – perhaps you should have a go at working back through your family tree – that’s usually an interesting idea.
    Lynn 😀

That’s not a bad idea! 🙂 Thank you!
